Information Services Division (ISD)
Information Services Division (ISD) is a business operating unit of NHS National Services Scotland - formerly known as the Common Services Agency - and has been in existence for over 40 years.
An important subdivision of the statistics collected by ISD Scotland are National Statistics. National Statistics is a stringent quality marker applied to certain of the UK's official statistics.
Information is collected in three main streams.
- Patient Activity data
- Workforce and earning data
- NHS Scotland complaints data
The dental data collected and collated by ISD can be accessed via the dental section.
