Childsmile
Childsmile is a national programme designed to improve the oral health of children in Scotland and reduce inequalities both in dental health and access to dental services. Childsmile developed largely from two national demonstration programmes (2006-08) laid out in the Dental Action Plan 2005.

Caring for Smiles
Caring for Smiles is Scotland’s national oral health promotion, training and support programme for older people, particularly those living in care homes. A number of resources are available:

Smile4Life is a developing oral health preventive programme for homeless populations across Scotland.

Mouth Matters is a developing is an evidence-informed oral health promotion resource designed to enable health professionals, prison staff and support workers to meet the specific oral health needs of offender populations in Scotland.
